I learned at 16 years of age, that there are many people on this planet that have it way worse than myself. My leg was amputated because of an aggressive cancer in my right knee called osteosarcoma. Shortly afterwards I went through physical therapy. Physical therapy made me appreciate what mobility I still have. Over 30 years later I still choose to do most things myself. I could take the easy way with my content, yet I do not. Most of my content takes a physical toll on me. One of my next videos is replacing the seats of our
@Ford 2003 E450 camper with Econoline 2025 seats. Wasn’t exactly plug and play but pretty close. However, just like most of my content I am a 3/4 person production. Doing the cameras, and usually all the work. What a physically mobile person could have done in less than 1 hour, took me 4 hours. From getting the camera equipment, tools, and literally everything else to make the seat swaps happen. Then all the clean up, and making sure tools are put right back 😂. Yet at the end of it, I always feel good that I managed to do it myself, and hope to inspire other disabled people.
