The date for this year’s event is Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th of July. We have a range of options for those who want to join us over the weekend with provisions for those who want to camp, those who want to stay in B&Bs and those who just wish to attend for the day on the Saturday. Building on the success of last year, this year we will again be holding our camp on private land and the site has both showers, toilet facilities and hot running water – so those who don’t like to be totally separated from creature comforts need not worry! Father and husband, Matt Styler, was sitting on a wall at a protest in Southampton when riot police, without warning, moved their lines past him. When he failed to move with sufficient speed, due to the 13 pins in his ankle, they began beating him with their fists, knees and riot shields. The attack was completely unprovoked and extremely traumatic for a man suffering from PTSD after his military service. For defending himself, he has been charged with the crime of "assaulting an emergency worker" and has been remanded in custody until November. Styler pleaded "not guilty" to his charge. The video of Styler's attack has been circulated widely on social media and is being used as an example of heavy-handed police brutality towards our people.
