Litter pick this AM with Winnie. Filled a bag full of cans/bottles, NOS canisters/balloons, dope/pill bags & from George Froud park #WaltonOnThames. The kids play area covered with butts & NOS balloons. Clearly used more by adults drinking & doing drugs than by kids playing. #Sad

Thanks to the help of local haulers, municipal and comerically generated post-use #plastics are being recovered so that they can #berecycled. Our facility in @cityoftigard receives all types of #polystrene that are then fed into the @regenyx #advancedrecycling facility.

Human caused fires account for 85% of this year’s fires on the #RRSNF. Normally human caused fires total about 60% of all fires. Why does this matter? Human caused fires can be just as destructive as lightning caused fires, but human caused fires are preventable. #fireprevention

We have had a busy morning of receiving #polystyrene items needing to #berecycled with two truckloads from pacific office automation. The #plastic will be placed back into the #circulareconomy for #plastics via #advancedrecycling. We #RecycleEPS because #recyclingmatters!
