As I had warned, I am deleting twitter unless the location thing is getting pulled. It is way too stressful to work around. Je supprime twitter à moins que la localisation soit enlevée, c'est beaucoup trop stressant à gérer. Je suis sur blue ky : redisnd

the idea abusers love you does NOT start with dating but in childhood it starts with “accepting” your parents beating you is tough love. its keeping friends who belittle and mistreat you. the brain forms this toxic normalization long before a partner starts their abuse

genuine question, why does a train line or a new park have to go thru years of votes and environmental impact studies but something like this can just? happen?
Stand with us to protect the future of Nashville Zoo. A proposed 69,000-square-foot data center is planned next to the Zoo, but no environmental impact studies have been conducted. Sign our petition to help protect the animals in our care ➡️ c.org/KxhXznzBcD

sometimes i think about the absolute hell in which whales must live, enduring endless, inescapable machine noise from boats that also wrecks their ability to communicate with one another

The last appointment I went to had one down, waiting to be fixed. No mask on the doctor, tiny room, no windows, and no a new one had not been brought in to wait until the broken one could be fixed.
it’s so fucking outrageous how common it is for medical facilities to have their air purifiers not in use—so often i have to turn on or first plug in these long-abandoned tools for cleaning the air. this timeline is committed to misery.

Well, we finally figured this out. My mom lives in a quadraplex apartment and they've been renovating the building as people moved out these last few years and every time they renovated an apartment they consolidated the power onto her unit, hence it basically quadrupling over the years. We found out because my sister walked around trying to find the meters and could only find one and then talking to the neighbors and finding out electric was included in their rent. My sister is taking point on talking to the landlord for now to get reimbursed but since that's probably going nowhere it looks like we're getting the utility company and a lawyer involved about theft of services.
What in the world is going on with electricity rates in Tennessee? We pay my biological mom's electric bill on her one bedroom apartment because she's on a fixed income and it's been slowly climbing over the last 3 years to the point it's gone from $200/month to now $700/month. She has one little window a/c unit and uses the communal laundry room so she's not even running a dryer or anything. Her usage hasn't gone up according to the bill, but between rate increases, taxes and fees it's gotten out of hand. We also live in a high energy cost state (MI) but our 2,000 sq ft house is costing us less than her 500ft² apartment, this is wild. I asked my sister who lived in the same town if that was normal and she said the electric bill on her house is $1800 /month 🤯 which is more than her mortgage! Tennessee what are you doing?!

Just now hearing the story from a little over a week ago that another kid with Tourette's and his family were banned from flying bc of his Tourette's. He had a "bomb" tic and they treated it as a real threat despite being made aware of his tics.
