Utah’s Establishment is rotten to the core; nothing but backroom deals, cronyism, corruption, quid pro quo, collusion, and cover-ups. Just look at Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson serving as campaign finance co-chair for Derek Brown while she’s supposed to be the state’s chief election officer overseeing ballot eligibility. Two AG candidates rightly called it inappropriate and a blatant conflict of interest. As I’ve traveled the state, government corruption has emerged as voters’ number one issue. People are fed up with the insider games. Derek Brown knew Governor Spencer Cox did not get the required number of signatures to appear on the primary ballot and he helped hide it. Instead of transparency and fair play, the insiders circled the wagons with audits that papered over the problems, protecting their own while undermining the trust of Utah voters. This isn’t leadership. This is the same old Utah Establishment protecting itself at the expense of the people.
