This is a must watch / listen and why people need to get out and vote blue in 2024.
On July 17, the NYT published an article that EVERY AMERICAN should read, but given it’s behind a pay wall, who better than Rachel Maddow to explain exactly what the right, under the direction of the Heritage Foundation is cooking up and saying out loud. Anyone who might have doubted my post yesterday claiming that if Dems lose next year it’s all over, need to listen and learn about P R O J E C T 2 0 2 5 The end of democracy as we know it. It’s real, it’s their plan and they are betting the house on it. This is why they are creating a blizzard of disinformation and misdirection to undermine trust in government. #DemsAct #DemVoice1 #wtpBLUE #ONEV1 #FAM46

BREAKING📷 A woman donated $1 million to Trump's super PAC. Three weeks later, her son a convicted tax criminal was pardoned. His pardon application literally mentioned her donation. Her name is Elizabeth Fago. Her son, Paul Walczak, had pleaded guilty to federal tax crimes. The pardon application filed on his behalf explicitly cited his mother's million-dollar donation to MAGA Inc. as a reason he deserved clemency. Trump signed the pardon. Walczak walked free and was relieved of more than $4 million in restitution he owed. That is one entry on a donor list of 58 people who gave a million dollars or more. MAGA Inc., Trump's super PAC, has now raised over $305 million since the 2024 election five times more than any presidential super PAC in history at this stage. The Brennan Center called it "completely unprecedented." Ninety-six percent of it came from donors giving $1 million or more. Sixty-two percent from those giving $5 million or more. This is not a grassroots operation. It is a pay-window. Here's what the donor list actually shows. Crypto.com's parent company, Foris Dax, gave $30 million — while it was under SEC investigation for allegedly trading unregistered securities. The SEC investigation was quietly dropped in March 2025, two months after the donation. The Winklevoss twins gave $1 million — also while their crypto platform Gemini was under SEC investigation. That investigation was dropped in February 2025. Energy Transfer, the Texas pipeline company, and its CEO Kelcy Warren gave a combined $25 million — while Energy Transfer was actively suing a federal regulatory agency in court. OpenAI President Greg Brockman and his wife gave $25 million — as the Trump administration was actively shaping AI policy in Silicon Valley's favor. Then there are the appointments. Benjamin Landa gave $5 million then became Trump's ambassador to Hungary. Kelly Loeffler and her husband gave $5 million she now runs the Small Business Administration. Warren Stephens gave $2 million now ambassador to the United Kingdom. Jared Isaacman gave $2 million now NASA administrator. And Isabela Herrera, a 25-year-old self-employed financial consultant whose only prior political donation was $20 to Pete Buttigieg in 2020, somehow contributed $3.5 million to MAGA Inc. Her father a Venezuelan billionaire facing federal bribery charges was pardoned by Trump in January 2026. Campaign Legal Center has filed a formal complaint with the FEC alleging she was a straw donor for her father. This is not dark money. This is public record. Every dollar, every favor, every pardon. Filed with the FEC. Sitting in plain sight. If you appreciate my posts, it would mean the world if you followed my page. Thank you for being here

MAGA should never be told that a convicted pedophile and his circle of elite friends raping girls when they are 14 or 16 years old is a Democrat hoax. And I still can’t believe I had to fight President Trump to release the Epstein files, and to this day no one has been arrested or held accountable. This was what killed MAGA. I don’t have Trump Derangement Syndrome, I have Trump Disappointment Syndrome.

MAGA found 34,000 dead people on voter rolls and screamed FRAUD. What they didn’t tell you: ZERO of them voted. Dead registrations ≠ dead people voting. This is a known manipulation tactic-give you a scary number, hide the part that proves nothing happened. Don’t be played.

The Supreme Court is compromised. Future Democratic governments, need to address this. Expand the court?
Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson didn't invoke Weimar Germany as a rhetorical flourish. She cited a specific scholar by name in a footnote: Ernst Fraenkel, a Jewish labor lawyer who observed the Nazi legal system from the inside, smuggled his manuscript out of Berlin in 1938, and published "The Dual State" at the University of Chicago in 1941. Fraenkel's framework is precise. The Nazis didn't immediately collapse Germany's legal system. They left courts functioning - particularly in contracts and economic matters - while placing Jews and political enemies in a separate lawless zone where no legal protection applied. Most Germans lived in the law-bound "normative state." The targeted lived in the "prerogative state." The facade of normalcy was the mechanism of control. Jackson invoked Fraenkel to name what the court's Republican majority is doing in real time. In 21 consecutive shadow docket cases, the six conservative justices have let Trump opt out of the law - often with no explanation given at all. They blessed ICE racial profiling without citing a single legal justification. They allowed Trump to ignore $4 billion in congressionally appropriated foreign aid. They stripped lower courts of the ability to issue universal relief, meaning only those with resources to file individual lawsuits get protection from illegal presidential action. Constitutional law professor Evan Bernick put it plainly: "The court is adjusting the law to make place for arbitrary power." Jackson's dissent is not hyperbole. A footnote citing a 1941 manuscript about Nazi legal architecture is a Supreme Court justice blowing the cover on what her colleagues are building.

Trump doesn’t believe in God. #FakeChristians
🚨 The Pentagon summoned the Pope’s ambassador to a closed-door meeting and threatened him. Named official. On record. Undersecretary of Defense Elbridge Colby called Cardinal Christophe Pierre to the Pentagon and delivered this message: “The United States has the military power to do whatever it wants in the world. The Catholic Church had better take its side.” Then a U.S. official invoked the Avignon Papacy — the 14th century moment when the French monarchy used military force to physically remove the Pope from Rome and bend the Church to its will. The Vatican understood the reference immediately. The Pope’s planned visit to America for the 250th anniversary celebration was cancelled. And then something remarkable happened. The Pope didn’t retreat. He pressed harder. He called the war unjust. He called Trump’s threats unacceptable. He told Americans to call Congress.

BREAKING: Megyn Kelly on MAGA: Megyn Kelly: “After 14 years inside Fox News, I’m exposing what viewers refuse to see—how the network morphed from news into a propaganda machine designed purely to cheerlead wars, worship Trump, and feed you manufactured rage instead of facts.” Truth.

This morning, I asked President Trump if he’s okay with the Iranians charging a toll for all ships that go through the Strait of Hormuz, he told me there may be a Joint US-Iran venture to charge tolls: “We’re thinking of doing it as a joint venture. It’s a way of securing it — also securing it from lots of other people.” “It’s a beautiful thing”

THIS. All of this.
Florida has been controlled by the Republican Party for 30 years. Republican have run all 3 branches of government here in Florida for 3 decades. So serious question for my fellow Floridians…… If you are concerned with the homeowners insurance issues we have, the over development of our state, the rising cost of living, the education system not operating to the best of it’s ability, and the healthcare system deficiencies we have……. Why do you continue to elect the same people that led us here?

🇮🇷🇴🇲 Iran is building a permanent toll system for Hormuz and deciding who pays and who doesn't... Tehran reportedly plans to jointly administer the Strait with Oman, charging $2 million per vessel. Oman gets a seat at the table as a reward for its mediation efforts and geographic position along the waterway. But the real story is in the exceptions. China sails through free. Pakistan gets 20 tankers. Iraq was declared a "brotherly country." And days ago, an Egyptian vessel carrying food reportedly passed without paying a cent, a political gesture thanking Cairo for its role in mediation. Iran is rebuilding the strait as a loyalty program. Friends transit freely. Mediators get rewarded. Enemies pay or don't pass at all. The parliament already codified this into law. The IRGC has the enforcement capability. And Oman's involvement gives it a veneer of international legitimacy. The U.S. went to war partly to prevent Iran from ever having this kind of leverage over global energy. Six weeks later, Iran has more control over Hormuz than at any point in its history, and it's institutionalizing that control while the bombs are still falling. Source: NYT Medial: @A_M_R_M1
🚨🇮🇷 Iranian oil is now more expensive than Brent crude... Read that again. For decades, sanctioned Iranian crude traded at a $10-12 discount because buyers needed compensation for the legal risk of touching it. Dark fleet tankers, fake manifests, ship-to-ship transfers off Malaysia. Then the U.S. waived sanctions on already-loaded Iranian cargoes to cool global prices. The discount collapsed overnight from -$12 to zero. Then it kept going. Iranian Light crude is now trading at a $1-2 premium above Brent. Sanctioned oil trading above the global benchmark has essentially never happened before. The reason is scarcity. The waiver only covers oil already on tankers. With Kharg Island under threat and Iranian export infrastructure being bombed, these may be the last legal barrels of Iranian crude available for months. Asian refineries calibrated specifically for this grade of oil are in a bidding war for the final shipments. Iran is making more profit per barrel than at any point in the last 48 years while maintaining near-exclusive control of Hormuz. So yes, the country being bombed "back to the stone age" is selling its oil at a premium the stone age never imagined. Source: @Spectator_MENA

Congratulations AG Blanche. Now you have 30 days to release the rest of the files before becoming criminally liable for failure to comply with the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
Pam Bondi led this Department with strength and conviction and I’m grateful for her leadership and friendship. Thank you to President Trump for the trust and the opportunity to serve as Acting Attorney General. We will continue backing the blue, enforcing the law, and doing everything in our power to keep America safe.

JUST IN: You do not fire your Army Chief of Staff in the middle of a war for no reason. You fire him because of what comes next. Pete Hegseth called General Randy George on April 2 and told him to retire immediately. The Pentagon confirmed it within hours. No reason was given. Not publicly. Not privately. A senior Army official told Fox News that Hegseth offered George nothing: no misconduct, no operational failure, no policy disagreement on the record. Just a phone call and a career ending in the middle of the most significant American combat operation in two decades. George is the 24th general or admiral Hegseth has removed. But he is not the 24th. He is the one that matters. The Army Chief of Staff. The man whose signature sits between a president’s intent and the order that sends soldiers across a beach or into a tunnel complex. The 82nd Airborne is deploying right now. Marines from the 31st MEU are staged on the USS Tripoli. JSOC operators are at forward bases in Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. Kharg Island, 90 percent of Iranian oil exports, sits 16 kilometres off a coast that someone will have to decide whether to approach. And the four-star general whose job it was to advise whether that approach should happen was removed 48 hours after Trump told the nation the war would continue for two to three more weeks. The replacement is Vice Chief General Christopher LaNeve. He was Hegseth’s senior military aide before this appointment. The man who carried the Secretary’s briefcase now commands the Army the Secretary is reshaping. The chain of command did not break. It shortened. The distance between a television studio and a combat order just collapsed to zero intermediaries who were not personally selected by the man giving the order. No reason was given. That is the tell. When someone is removed without explanation during a crisis, the explanation is the crisis itself. George either objected to something or was about to. The ground option. The power plant strikes. The Kharg raid. The escalation that turned a highway bridge in Karaj into rubble on the same day he was told to leave. Something in the next two weeks requires a chief who will not push back, and the Pentagon solved that problem by installing one trained as Hegseth’s aide. A former Fox News weekend host just fired a four-star general with combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, replaced him with his own former assistant, and did it during a live war in which the next decision could put American soldiers on Iranian soil for the first time in history. No hearing was held. No misconduct cited. The Army woke up on April 3 with a new chief it did not choose, in a war it did not start, preparing for a phase the previous chief apparently could not be trusted to execute. The question is not why George was fired. Every general in the building knows why. The question is what order is coming in the next fourteen days that required removing the one man in the chain of command who might have said no. The war has no perimeter. The chain of command has no objectors. And the next phase has no one left to stop it. open.substack.com/pub/shanak…
