Sometimes life gets in the way and you lose sight of what matters. Personal tragedies, lack of funding, growing older, all add to feelings of can I still do this. I have manged to press the reset button. Opening another Reflections in 2 weeks time.

The Reflections team enjoyed a murder mystery today. The people picked their characters and came in costume ! They all had a brilliant afternoon with much laughter as usual. Just love the Captains quip !

Went to granddaughters Christingle service at a quaint old Baptist church. Christmas stripped of all the commercialisation. Members of the church arranged it all and made tea etc. All were quite elderly. Prob not many such churches will survive with no younger people joining.

When a retired care home entertainer develops dementia and starts attending Reflections he feels that he has got his purpose and self worth back and we in turn get a fab entertainer.

My husbands headstone made its appearance yesterday. Didn't realise how long these things take. A little reference to Coldplay and one to American Trilogy which the church accepted prob thinking Danny liked stars and psalms π

Too young to get into the casino but know all the songs and moves from our youth club days. The lads carrying their record boxes,us girls in our full circle skirts. Great memories brought back tonight.

Been on my 1st teams meeting today, yup, don`t ask how I have managed this up til now. Spent the hour or so looking at the amazing sea views the LA commissioner had from all of her windows and thinking wow, I want her job.πππ
