2026 is the year I actually promote my work on social media. Subscribe to my Substack. It spotlights Canadian governance, power brokers, grifters, foreign entities, and the murky intersections that connect them. reidsmall.substack.com/

Whether someone supported the aggression in Iran was a pretty straightforward test of judgment. Now we're watching them shamelessly try to memory-hole just how loudly and enthusiastically they cheered it on.

Ah yes, “Canadians for Bush” Stockwell Day. The guy who condemned Canada’s unwillingness to participate in the 2003 invasion of Iraq and later stated that “Israel is the only true democracy in the entire Middle East” and that “Iranians hate democracy as much as they hate Jews.”

My latest report uncovers how Canadian tax dollars funded a covert propaganda campaign in Syria. Watch it here ⤵️
How Canada helped fund a covert propaganda campaign in Syria. For years, the Government of Canada funded a sophisticated propaganda campaign targeting Syria. It aimed to boost support for armed opposition groups and “soften” the image of anti-Assad militias, according to leaked documents.

Yes, clearly Ezra Levant puts his viewers’ interests above the truth — which is why they’ll 🚨 DONATE NOW 🚨 to protect those interests. Journalistic integrity is adherence to the truth, not pandering to an echo chamber.
When I was with Rebel News, my boss told me something that has always guided me. If you fight for your readers, and put their interests above everyone else's, including your own, the audience will always have your back. Leaders come and go. Integrity should be unwavering.

British Columbia's overseas trade offices cost taxpayers millions each year, but the province is unable or unwilling to fully account for how that money is spent. Read my latest article ⤵️
How much do these offices actually cost, and what do British Columbians, who are footing the bill, get in return? coastalfront.ca/read/bcs-glo…

Speaking of foreign powers and genocide, your leadership campaign co-chair, John Baird, served on the board of directors of an organization that lobbies Canadian policymakers on behalf of a foreign government that is committing genocide.

Give this article a read. The IHRA’s "working definition" was adopted in my city, Vancouver, a few years ago, spearheaded by @sarahkirby_yung under @KenSimCity's administration to "combat rising hate incidents." The federal government of Canada adopted the IHRA definition in 2019, and multiple provinces have done the same.
new: Wisconsin Becomes 38th State to Enact IHRA Speech Code; Ohio Set to Follow as 39th chrisbrunet.com/p/wisconsin-… Major politicians aren’t talking about it. Headlines aren’t being written about it. But the IHRA speech codes march forward, state by state, without resistance.

And then-Superintendent of the RCMP's Security Service, Ron Yaworski, oversaw the destruction of additional sensitive files related to these illegal activities. His son, Jeffrey Yaworski, went on to become the second-in-command at CSIS. In 2015, Jeffrey travelled to Ankara, Turkey, to persuade Turkish authorities not to disclose CSIS’s recruitment of a Syrian human smuggler who had trafficked three British teenage girls to Islamic State militants.

The proponents operated under the presumption that this would create stability, free the Iranian people, make the world safer, and be an easy operation. They were wrong across the board. The only meaningful path to redemption now is full, unqualified acknowledgment, not just that they were wrong, but that they advocated reckless and predictably catastrophic views.
Anyone who still takes Trump seriously at this point is effectively a political cultist. Eventually, the fog will lift, and some people will sheepishly admit they were "wrong" about this war, but that amounts to little accountability when they were quite literally cheerleading it while schoolchildren were being incinerated.
