I was delighted to meet with Permanent Secretary at the UK Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), Jonathan Brearley. As the global demand for energy grows, it is critical that we collaborate with our great allies and partners, above all the UK, to develop and deploy new technologies like advanced nuclear reactors to power the free world.

I appreciated @UraniumProdAm's updates on the @ENERGY's Defense Production Act (DPA) Consortium and their efforts securing U.S.-origin uranium for our national defense. Collaboration between industry and government is key to meeting America’s future security needs.

It was a pleasure to host the impressive companies participating in the @Energy Reactor Pilot Program alongside the @NuclearStudies. Witnessing the collaborative efforts of these companies, our national labs, and the DOE is truly inspiring. I am excited to continue supporting the work that will strengthen America's energy baseload.

Right now, federal agencies are encouraged to spend every cent allocated to them with almost no oversight as to where that money is going. My bill, the Bonuses for Cost Cutters Act, broadens the existing rewards program for federal employees who uncover fraud. A big win for American taxpayers!

I was honored to speak today at the Atlantic Council and KHNP Conference. In partnership with the Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power (KHNP), I spoke about the great relationship between the US and South Korea. The US-ROK civil nuclear relationship will continue evolving and strengthening our strategic partnership.

The 21,000-square-foot facility will provide critical capabilities for NNSA nonproliferation programs while enabling advanced research, testing, and technology development across a broad range of enrichment technologies.
