78 years ago today, the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act secured women a permanent place in our Armed Forces. In every conflict since the founding, women have answered the call to defend American freedom. Today, we honor our nation’s women veterans.

Uncovering and cracking down on the billions of dollars in waste, fraud, and abuse is one of Idahoans’ top priorities. I supported several bills this week to protect taxpayer dollars and eliminate waste and corruption within the federal government.

Great to see so many FFA students from Idaho in DC! I applaud their efforts to become future leaders in the agricultural industry. I've said this before, and I'll continue to say it: the future of Idaho agriculture is in great hands!

How crazy have Democrats become? Last week, the House voted on a bill to crack down on fraud in child care programs after billions of taxpayer dollars were lost to phony operations like Minnesota's infamous "Quality Learing Center." 98% of Democrats voted against it.

I commend @TomColeOK04 and @CongMikeSimpson for advancing the FY27 Interior funding bill. Next stop➡️ House floor. As co-chair and co-founder of the Congressional Everglades Caucus, I'm proud to continue supporting major Everglades preservation and restoration through critical funding and through the codification of the Clean Water Act's Section 404 program to streamline processes so that important work can move faster and more effectively. Additionally, I'm proud to deliver critical water infrastructure upgrades in Hialeah and Medley, through funding that aims to replace aging pipes, reduce leaks, and improve reliability.

Today we honor the 82nd anniversary of D-Day. It is our duty and privilege to remember the souls who stormed the blood-stained beaches of Normandy. We will never forget the young men who fought to preserve and protect freedom. They sacrificed their futures so that freedom could know its own.
