Thank you, Senator!
.@RepDanBishop is an experienced America First patriot with a distinguished private-sector legal career—an excellent next U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of NC. @POTUS has made a strong choice in nominating him & I have no doubt that under Dan’s leadership, NC will be safer. budd.senate.gov/2026/01/15/b…

The sleuthing of the Russiagate Corner of the Internet is a crowdsourcing story for the ages. A great lesson in how smart and resourceful people are all around … and how they often can figure out more than those with firsthand access. I won’t forget what I’ve learned from them.
The appointment of Dan Bishop as U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of North Carolina is hugely significant, not just because Dan was one of the few members of Congress genuinely seeking the truth rather than grandstanding. Everyone remembers his work on Russiagate, but what’s less known is his early understanding and courage in saying that Covid came out of a lab. His Twitter feed is full of posts about it going back many years. Those familiar with the origin story know it leads straight to Ralph Baric, the so-called godfather of gain-of-function research and co-author, together with the Wuhan lab, of the 2018 DEFUSE blueprint for creating Covid-like viruses. Baric also supplied the Wuhan lab with highly advanced humanized mice, without which Covid could not have been made. And where did Baric do all this? In Chapel Hill, Orange County, North Carolina, which happens to fall within the Middle District. Dan Bishop couldn’t be stepping into a more important post to finally bring accountability where it’s long been missing.

Marking the forty-second time this year that a federal judge exceeded the bounds of law and the constitution and trampled on the authority of the President of the United States.

Maybe before you attack the Supreme Court for not being neutral, you should learn how to spell “neutral.” Also, notice the evil reddening — as if they were devils — of all of the Republican appointees to the Court.

Grok says 41 district court temporary injunctions against Trump this term have been stayed on appeal or vacated by the issuing district court. More than 80%. 37 in the first term. Each is a violation of the separation of powers that can most charitably be ascribed to error. x.com/i/grok/share/cw23DuNtw…
No. 🙄 The District Court’s interpretation of the statute is flawed, as is the test she applied in review. Her factual findings are the least of it.

One other message: They know this President is making every minute count.
Maybe this is flippant, but it seems about right. There’s no clear message or goal to these protests other than people are upset they lost the election, and I doubt there’s going to be much discussion of the protests past the weekend.

Brilliant man.
The best way to make sure America has No Kings is to drastically cut the scope and size of the federal government. That means Russ Vought is basically leading the No Kings implementation.

The people who tore down the guardrails to get Trump are very upset to discover that the guardrails they tore down to get Trump are nowhere to be found now that Trump is in power again and he has no interest in putting them back up.

STATEMENT ON DEPARTMENT OF WAR MEDIA ACCESS GUIDELINES FROM THE FEDERALIST CEO SEAN DAVIS AND EDITOR-IN-CHIEF MOLLIE HEMINGWAY: When other credentialed outlets and journalists spread lies about the Russia collusion hoax, or the Covington kids hoax, or the Kavanaugh rape hoax, or the Ukraine impeachment hoax, or the COVID-19 natural origin hoax, or the peaceful BLM riots hoax, or the suckers and losers hoax, or the Hunter Biden laptop hoax, or the Biden’s-brain-is-totally-fine-you-guys hoax, The Federalist fearlessly reported the truth. Corrupt corporate journalists published lies and regurgitated regime propaganda and were given awards. We published facts and the truth, and the U.S. federal government responded by waging a global war of illegal censorship against The Federalist. They profited from lies, while we were punished for reporting the truth. Where were these self-styled First Amendment defenders when we were illegally censored and targeted for debunking Deep State lies and hoaxes? Many of them not only refused to defend us, but cheered the illegal censorship efforts against us. NBC News, for example, colluded with Big Tech to demonetize and deplatform us for criticizing the government and the corrupt corporate news media. So you’ll have to forgive our skepticism of corporate media’s ostensible new love of press freedoms and the First Amendment. We actually read through the new Department of War media access guidelines, and we found zero new restrictions on the ability of journalists to report on or criticize the government. Many corporate journalists eager to grandstand will claim otherwise without evidence, but we will show you what the actual document says. “Nothing in this document requires you to waive any constitutional rights. This in-brief constitutes a description of [Department of War] policies." “Members of the news media are not required to submit their writings to [the Department of War] for approval.” “This in-brief and its Appendices address [Department of War] policy and the potential bases for such a determination and do not prohibit you as a [credential holder] from engaging in constitutionally protected journalistic activities, such as investigating, reporting, or publishing stories.” “My signature represents my acknowledgement and understanding of such [Department of War] policies and procedures, even if I do not necessarily agree with such policies and procedures. Signing this acknowledgment does not waive any rights I may have under law.” Those are the actual facts. And as usually is the case, we are likely the first outlet to report them. We look forward to eagerly covering the Pentagon, both on-site and from a distance, with the same fearlessness and courage and devotion to the truth that we have exhibited since we were created. And if the new guidelines result in fewer professional con artists and media hoaxers roaming the halls looking for new lies to peddle, so be it.

OMB is making every preparation to batten down the hatches and ride out the Democrats’ intransigence. Pay the troops, pay law enforcement, continue the RIFs, and wait.

Boy, do I miss this great star.
I spoke with @Charliekirk11 today about the DOJ’s indictment of President Trump and what Congress ought to do about it. Not one more penny for a rotten DOJ bent on criminalizing free speech

Only his chances were slim.

You know what looks a lot more like Mafia corruption than the President of the United States deciding whom to prosecute after a presidential election where investigating corruption by the President’s opponents was a big issue, Chris Christie? Bridgegate, which ended any chance you might have had to be President, though those chances were always slim. The idea that lanes of a bridge from Fort Lee, NJ could be shut down to retaliate against a Mayor you didn’t like for not supporting you for Governor is pretty thuggish. In fact, the George Washington Bridge being used as a political plaything is something that could have been ripped straight from a Sopranos episode, had the show not ended 6 years earlier.
