I recently helped introduce the Build American Efficiency Act to streamline Build America, Buy America compliance for our home builders and manufacturers. I appreciated meeting with MacLean Power Systems Mankato to discuss the importance of investing in American infrastructure and how we can improve the process for businesses like theirs to source American materials.

As a result of the inaction of our state’s so-called leaders, billions of hard-earned taxpayer dollars were diverted to criminals instead of helping Minnesotans in need. Today, I led my fellow Minnesota Congressional Republicans in sending a letter to Gov. Walz and AG Ellison urging them to resign after @GOPoversight’s recent report exposed that they were aware of the fraud running rampant throughout our state, ignored and dismissed employees and whistleblowers who warned them, and failed to act. They must be held accountable.

I was proud to support the Secure America Act, which responsibly funds ICE and CBP through 2029 – ensuring the men and women who protect our homeland won’t have to pay the price for political games like the Democrats’ record 76-day DHS shutdown earlier this year.

In revitalizing America’s industrial base, enhancing quality of life for our servicemembers, and lowering barriers for small businesses, giving them greater opportunities to innovate and be a part of our supply chains, this FY27 NDAA delivers and builds upon critical components of Peace Through Strength. I was proud to author 14 provisions within this year’s legislation, and strongly supported the Committee’s passage of this crucial, bipartisan legislation. I look forward to getting it to the House Floor.

Glad to see @USDA taking steps to expedite access to credit for farmers who rely on financing to feed and fuel the world.
Earlier this year, I introduced the USDA Express Loan Act, legislation included in the #2026FarmBill, that will more quickly and efficiently equip farmers with the information they need to make financial decisions for their operations.
