I joined @SenTuberville in introducing the Student Athlete Act. College sports are becoming unrecognizable. The transfer portal has devolved into free agency for the highest bidder, and we can't even define what a student-athlete is anymore.  Without guardrails, athletes with no academic plans sue for extra eligibility, posing a safety hazard for younger players and taking opportunities away from high school prospects along the way. Congress must step in before college sports loses its core mission: to grow student-athletes on the field and in the classroom. Today, I introduced a resolution to impeach Obama-appointed Judge John McConnell Jr. After a terrorist attack on members of the National Guard, USCIS paused certain asylum and immigration benefit applications submitted by illegal aliens pending additional security vetting. Judge McConnell blocked that policy and ordered USCIS to resume processing those applications. By rejecting the government's national security concerns, Judge McConnell placed the interests of noncitizens seeking immigration benefits above the safety and security of the American people. Has UF’s Board of Trustees learned nothing from the disastrous Santa Ono pick? Floridians rejected DEI. Yet UF is again considering a candidate who proudly promotes rejected woke ideology. UF deserves a president focused on academic excellence. Not woke activism.

I represent more Social Security recipients than any congressional district in America, so I asked @SecScottBessent what this tax relief means for seniors living on fixed incomes… The average deduction is $7,500, and the majority of those benefiting make less than $200,000 a year. That's real relief for our seniors who deserve to keep more of their money!

ANTIFA extremists have assaulted law enforcement officers, destroyed property, and terrorized communities for years. That’s not “peaceful protest”… it’s domestic terrorism. I introduced the Stop ANTIFA Act with @SenRickScott to designate ANTIFA as a domestic terrorist organization. If you attack police officers and terrorize American communities, you belong behind bars!
