🧵Day #2 of FY25 exec budget hearings. Today was NYCHA. Some takeaways: City Hall proposed a $274.8M supplement (up $58M from prelim budget). But mayor's exec budget doesn't include a single dime of what the @NYCCouncil called for in our response.

I voted absentee. Have you voted. Have you made your plans to do so it’s always important to vote but never more than now. With people in different parts of our society involved in attempts to weaken our democracy, we need to be aware & involved.

I’m in total agreement with @BarackObama, the rise of Antisemitism in our country is something we should not ignore. We should fight all forms of bigotry anywhere we find it and support our president in this very important mission. @POTUS @VP
