It'll invest in medical research, safety, veteran health care, disaster recovery, VAWA funding – and gets crucial assistance to Ukraine.

On this day in 1890, nearly 300 Lakota people were slaughtered at Wounded Knee, S.D. by U.S. Army soldiers. I wept with descendants of that massacre at the Wounded Knee Memorial this past year. Our work to build a better future starts with acknowledging our tragic history.
