Yesterday, #PAHouse Democrats refused to take up SB 9 in committee and then quickly ran out of the room to avoid a vote. Less than 24 hours later, the Olympic world moves to protect fairness in women's sports.

This time, they just walked out rather than voting on the Save Women's Sports Act Earlier this week, in the House Children & Youth Committee, Democrats avoided a vote on SB 9 in the craziest way yet. Minority Chair, Rep. Kate Klunk (R - 169) made a motion to bring up the Save Women's Sports Act for a vote during "other business." Rep. Liz Hanbidge (D - 61), committee chair at the time, promptly denied the motion. Rep. Klunk appealed, but instead of allowing discussion on the motion, Rep. Hanbidge proceeded to steamroll her way through a vote, ignoring the objections of Republicans in the committee. After the vote, she and the rest of the Democrats proceeded to get up and walk out as Republican members attempted to make their voices heard. Protocol was ignored as they shut down the Save Women's Sports Act. What are they so afraid of? Visit pafamily.org to stay informed and take action on SB 9.

Women and girls in sport are waiting to be protected by democrat leadership in the Pennsylvania House.
Just the mention of SB9, the Save Women's Sports Act, sent House Democrats RUNNING out of a committee meeting today.

Our @PAHouseGOP @PolicyCmte is working to make childcare more affordable and accessible for PA families. This study is backed up by the provider testimonies we heard at our hearings. We can cut red tape for providers and still have high quality and safe care for our kids.
