Within the Secure America Act is a provision from my bill the Renewed Hope Act. It delivers hundreds of new investigators to track down the 89,000 missing children depicted in child sexual abuse material and bring their abuser to justice. This legislation is law!

So grateful for all the hard work that Congresswoman Laurel Lee did to get this bill through Congress.
Today, after two years of advocating and fighting for children across the country, I will get to see my legislation signed into law by @potus.
When I introduced the Renewed Hope Act, I did it because I could not look away from the reality that 89,000 children are still waiting to be found — and that the investigators working around the clock to find them were severely outnumbered.
Today, that changes. This investment will put new analysts and investigators to work identifying those children and bringing their abusers to justice. I am grateful to @TimTebow and the @tebowfoundation for their tireless advocacy — their voice helped make this moment possible, and I look forward to watching these resources reach the hands of the law enforcement heroes who will use them to bring these children home.

I was honored to join @POTUS today at the signing of the Secure America Act. Not only will this legislation provide full funding to ICE and Border Patrol Agents, but it will strengthen the federal government’s capacity to identify, rescue, and protect children who are victims of online sexual exploitation, a provision from my legislation, the Renewed Hope Act.

Combatting the sexual exploitation and trafficking of children has been at the forefront of my work for many years. I’m proud to continue this important work as a Member of Congress.
Yesterday, I introduced the bipartisan, bicameral Renewed Hope Act with @JohnCornyn, @SenBlumenthal, @RepDWStweets, and @TimTebow. This important bill will provide resources and training, enhance DHS capabilities to better identify, rescue, and protect victims of online child sexual exploitation, and ensure child exploiters are brought to justice.

Today at the @HouseCommerce CMT Subcommittee hearing, I spotlighted our bipartisan work on COPPA 2.0 to update and strengthen privacy protections for children and teens. We must continue building on this foundation to keep pace with today’s digital world.
