Protecting our students needs to happen before we spend tens of millions on Capitol security. I will continue fighting hard for our kids as we head into the final week of session. #muellerminute #schoolsafety #studentsoverpoliticians

Representative Patricia Mueller retweeted
House Republicans’ #1 priority bill has just PASSED. Billions of taxpayer dollars were lost to fraud while Democrats controlled state government. That was not bad luck. It was years of ignored warnings, weak oversight, and no real accountability. Today, the House passed the Office of Inspector General bill to bring independent oversight, protect taxpayer dollars, and help make sure this never happens again.

You don't need to mandate things that are good, we need to let our businesses decide what makes the most sense for them and their employees. #mnleg #business #PFML

Our top priority is making sure small businesses can operate and grow without being weighed down by unnecessary mandates or harmful regulations. #businesssuccess #mnleg #smallbusiness #economy
Rep. Mueller stands up for small businesses who desperately want Paid Family Leave reform: "You don't have to mandate a good thing!" "It's not as if we came in and said 'hey, let's repeal it'. Instead, you heard Representative Robbins ask for an opt-in for job creators with 15 or fewer employees. You heard Representative Bakeberg ask to just modify seasonal employees... We aren't asking for a repeal, we're asking for modifications that would make it more manageable!"

The hospitality industry is struggling under the many mandates that have been put on businesses. We need to promote a business friendly environment, otherwise these vital businesses will have no choice but to close!! #ProBusiness #Economy #jobs

Special education is extremely important and needs to be funded! Balancing the budget cannot come at the expense of our special education students or programs. HF4114 directly addresses these funding threats, which we cannot allow to go through. #specialeducation #muellerminute

Today, Chair Robbins brought forward a bill in the Labor Committee that will give small business owners flexibility regarding the PFML law. When businesses are forced to close due to laws like this one, we must reconsider how to support business owners, employees, and consumers.
