The Taliban are terrorists, and any effort to legitimize them is reckless and dangerous. We introduced the Preventing the Recognition of Terrorist States Act which would formally designate the Taliban as a foreign terrorist organization, designate the Taliban-led government of Afghanistan as a State Sponsor of Terrorism, and prohibit federal agencies from recognizing the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. This legislation draws a bright line in the sand and makes clear, now and forever, the Taliban will never be treated as a legitimate government by the United States.

Some crimes demand the ultimate consequence. R*ping a child is one. We introduced the Death Penalty for Child Rapists Act, which would do exactly what the name says. If you r*pe a child, you do not get a second chance. We will never apologize for protecting America's children.

Girls’ sports are for biological girls ONLY. For generations, women and girls fought for the opportunity to compete on a level playing field. We will not allow those hard-earned opportunities to be erased. We will not stand by while biological males take their trophies, their titles, their scholarships, and their opportunities. The allegations against Graham Platner keep getting worse. 78 years ago today, the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act secured women a permanent place in our Armed Forces. In every conflict since the founding, women have answered the call to defend American freedom. Today, we honor our nation’s women veterans.

Cashless bail lets violent criminals walk out of jail with no financial incentive to comply with their release conditions. Communities and victims pay the price. Taxpayers should not be funding jurisdictions refusing to keep dangerous people off the streets. Our No Bailouts for Cashless Bail Jurisdictions Act cuts off federal funding to any jurisdiction substantially eliminating cash bail as a condition of pretrial release for serious offenses. The Attorney General will publicly name every non-compliant jurisdiction. Federal funding gets stripped for a minimum of 180 days until cash bail is restored. Law and order is the only way.

There is no crime on earth more evil than harming a child. Monsters who r*pe children do not deserve to live. This is exactly why we introduced the Death Penalty for Child Rapists Act. End of story.
