Sometimes in life, you have to make sacrifices. With @MeridianMining ($MNO), you may not have to. Cabaçal, Meridian’s flagship project with a completed PFS, offers exposure to copper, gold, and a touch of silver. The project’s economics are driven roughly 60% by copper ($copper) and 40% by gold ($gold). That’s a solid blend of metals in the current environment. The PFS shows a post-tax NPV5% of over US$2.2B in its highest sensitivity case, using US$4,000/oz gold and US$6.00/lb copper. For context, Meridian’s market cap is roughly C$950M. With a Definitive Feasibility Study underway, over C$100M in the bank, and a recent London listing, Meridian is entering an important stretch. I sat down with CEO Gilbert Clark to discuss the LSE listing, Cabaçal’s progress, Meridian’s cash position, the upcoming DFS, permitting in Brazil, and the catalysts ahead. Heliostar announced the purchase of the Goldstrike project from Liberty Gold. This looks like a win for both sides as Charles Funk continues the $HSTR strategy of buying non-core assets, and $LGD can further advance their Black Pine Project with non-dilutive capital.
$hstr.v First break above $3 today. Hard to complain when the stock was trading at $0.20 in February 2024. Heliostar shows what happens when you buy unloved assets at generational lows. Watch my video with CEO Charles Funk. youtube.com/watch?v=g26VpJ-g…

Falling knives have put mining investors at risk of sending them to the emergency room recently. However, after analyzing all of the GDX/GDXJ stocks, I believe that I have found 5 (all producers) that offer quick snap-back potential. $GDX $GDXJ $gold

4.4Moz AU indicated in Ontario. ~C$366M market cap. @muddywatersre is Mayfair Gold’s largest shareholder. For a firm known for short activism, that’s a notable vote of confidence—and a signal the peer valuation gap won’t persist forever. $MFG
$MFG's largest shareholder, @muddywatersre's CEO Carson Block, was featured on @ResourceInsider discussing the often-overlooked mining sector. More investors are realizing the diversification benefits of gold in multi-asset portfolios. 📺 Watch here: youtube.com/watch?v=vp9xLWoW…

Most junior miners never become producers. Oxiana is one of the few. Tony Manini helped take this tiny junior from a ~$3M market cap into a multi-billion-dollar copper-gold producer in ~8 years. Today, he’s a partner at EMR Capital and Chairman of @AndinaCopper and @C3Metals, and has built multiple resource companies along the way. We talk frontier exploration, company-building, and what it takes to turn a good deposit into a financeable asset. Full interview in the comments👇

Just remember. Royals are nothing more than the descendants of successful thugs. Royalty doesn't bestow on anyone good or bad. Some may be good as Diana seemed to be and others are pedophiles for eg. Automatically believing good or bad due to their privileged status is silly
*NEW COLUMN* Meghan & Harry haven’t been criticised because of her colour but because she’s a selfish social climber & he’s a weak whiner - and by playing this despicable race card they have grossly libelled all of Britain. dailym.ai/2uHX7gh

I recommend keeping your most important plan for 2020 to yourself. Only after success, reveal what your plan was all along. The knowledge of your secret will burn like a furnace inside you until then. You will glow from the heat.

Obviously we are heavily biased towards specific deals in the natural resource sector. Besides that, human capital. Hone your skill set until you are the best in the world. It is easier to transfer a skill set to different industries than you would think.

What asset or strategy *that you allocate money to* do you think is the biggest diversifier to a traditional global stocks, bonds, and real asset (real estate and commodities) mix?

Profit taking is one of the hardest things to do. These questions always help me: 1. Does my initial thesis still hold? 2. If I didn’t already own, would I buy? 3. Valuation - absolute and vs. peers? If I‘m uncomfortable, it’s probably outside of a normal holding. Recalibrate
