Been happy with resthooks.io/ for over six months. Used custom Axios functions for a few years, tried swr but posting and patching made us fallback to Axios in those cases. Rest Hooks did it all and cleanly.

For what it's worth, you might want to look at resthooks.io/ - I think they are one of the libraries coming the closest to implementing all that.

Awesome demo! Went ahead and forked it to use Rest Hooks codesandbox.io/s/concurrent-… so you can see it used with a full data fetching library to get full types, performance, consistency, etc.
