Worth a listen
“Whenever I’m about to do something, I think ‘Would an idiot do that?’ and if they would, I do not do that thing.” – Dwight Schrute And what is the best way to spot an idiot? Look for the person who is cruel.

Why @AmericanAir when you cancel someone’s flight 3 times do you not allow them to rebook themselves??? Why make me wait for hours on the phone or on a chat? Weather may be out of your control, but crappy service is not.

Thank you AG Weiser @pweiser for supporting local retailers and consumers. Hoping Congress and other AGs follow your lead to stop the surge in counterfeit and stolen goods sold online.

Yesterday, I testified in support of HB22-1099. Here’s why we need it (a thread 👇): #coleg #copolitics

An early Christmas present from @uspirg for retailers that are working to protect consumers from counterfeit and stolen goods. #INFORMConsumersAct

Thanks @uspirg for putting @RILAtweets and America’s retailers on the #NiceList for working to protect consumers from counterfeit and stolen goods sold online. #INFORMConsumersAct uspirg.org/blogs/blog/usp/20…
I’d be careful about challenging a guy who has seen @amazon vehicles backed up to warehouses filled with millions in stolen goods. Interesting strategy saying we need to lock more people up @amazon_policy while you sell stolen goods daily.
Ben Dugan’s testimony shows @CVSHealth has lost control of lost prevention. Solutions start with stronger penalties and more law enforcement. Not targeting small online sellers.

Rest assured, the members of @RILAtweets think stopping marketplaces from selling billions in counterfeit and stolen goods is also important. We stand with @SenatorDurbin & his colleagues in both chambers #INFORMConsumers
National Retail Federation's own members say partnership with law enforcement is the most important to stop ORC.

Apparently @SenTedCruz is hard on tech when someone calls him a mean name on Twitter. But he seems to not care about billions of dollars of counterfeit and stolen goods sold on @amazon. Interesting set of priorities.

I nominate @kdanesnowden for best supporting actor on behalf of the criminals and con artists selling counterfeits and stolen goods online.

Amazon makes a percentage every time they sell a stolen or counterfeit item from their platform. Someone should ask them how much they make on all those sales?
CVS, Home Depot, Ulta and Target all have something in common. They’re struggling to keep up with organized crime rings stealing from their stores in bulk and selling the goods online, often on Amazon. on.wsj.com/3t6NZw4

Your platform sucks @hbomax Doesn’t matter who owns you or what media conglomerate you’re associated with. Your app is always down. Worst of all streaming apps. Unreliable and constantly glitchy.

Yesterday @POTUS called on employers to give workers paid time off to get #vaccinated. Leading retailers are already answering the call. A look at how the industry is working to reduce barriers to vaccination here:

It's time for common-sense transparency to protect consumers from the sale of fraudulent, expired, defective & unsafe products online. The #INFORMConsumers Act will make it much harder for bad actors to peddle illicit goods to unsuspecting consumers bit.ly/3tQlFgy

To be clear. Opening businesses and schools- Good. Rescinding safety protocols like wearing masks- Bad. Not out of the woods yet. #Covid #ShopSafely

Tremendous strides have been made in recent weeks lowering the rate of COVID infections & ramping up vaccinations. Now's not the time to jeopardize this progress.
Retail Industry Leaders Association opposes Texas mask rule ending: Will "unfairly put retail employees back in the role of enforcing guidelines still recommended by the CDC...could also jeopardize the safety of pharmacies and grocers that are gearing up as vaccination centers"
