On February 24, millions of us made a choice. Not a white flag, but the blue and yellow one. Not fleeing, but facing. Resisting & fighting. It was a year of pain, sorrow, faith, and unity. And this year, we remained invincible. We know that 2023 will be the year of our victory!

Is @WUSTL going to respond to allegations that Nobel Economics Prize laureate Philip Dybvig sexually harassed female Chinese students or not? The allegations have been out for a while now, and yet all I see is complete silence from his institution and the economics world.

In England you sometimes see these "wavy" brick fences. And curious as it may seem, this shape uses FEWER bricks than a straight wall. A straight wall needs at least two layers of bricks to make is sturdy, but the wavy wall is fine thanks to the arch support provided by the waves

Edward Snowden: "Arguing that you don't care about the right to privacy because you have nothing to hide is no different than saying you don't care about free speech because you have nothing to say." There is no better example for that than the case of coronavirus in China.

Many in China argue they are not bothered by the lack of free speech because they don't need it. Yet, because someone's early messages about the virus were suppressed by the government, everyone in the country has been like under house arrest over a month and many lost their life
