I'm headed to Taiwan this week to attend COMPUTEX, where I think we will see some handheld PC announcements. I decided to combine this Taiwan trip with a visit to Shenzhen, and hopefully I will gain new insights into how handhelds are designed and manufactured.

Lenovo has discounted their 12.7" 1840p Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Yoga Tab Plus (16GB/256GB) to $500 for Memorial Day. Includes the keyboard attachment, looks like a nice productivity/gaming combo tablet. Sadly, no microSD card slot.

As a comparison, the 13" iPad Pro starts at $1,300 $350 for the Magic Keyboard. I'm sure the iPad is generally a nicer experience, but not for gaming and certainly not for 3x the price
