TO BE CLEAR....I am a DC fan FIRST.
That has nothing to do with Snyder. That had nothing to do with James Gunn. It just so happens that WB has always owned the DC IP. I know what I like and what I don't about film, entertainment & DC.
It just so happens Snyder, Nolan and the writers of the first 4 years of the DCEU wrote some incredible stories and brought DC characters to life. They took it seriously.
The studio had other plans and backstabbed all of those fans of that universe and those stories and brought Gunn in to take control of DC.
Gunn is for 15 year olds. He writes like a degenerate and it shows in everything he does. He completely disrespects DC characters.
I will never be HAPPY about that and I don't have to accept it.
I will still cover DC moving forward. That bothers some. TOO BAD!! I don't just stop because I don't like the content. You don't like it then move on.

They fired The Rock after Black Adam, a D list villain that made $390m without China. Supergirl is projected to make less. But Gunn fans will still say the universe is just getting started 5 projects in. The Rock gets 1 movie but Gunn gets 5 🤔

Don’t worry, the DCU will get it right with the NEXT project. Pay no attention to the audience that didn’t show up for Creature Commandos. Pay no attention to the loss of the audience on Peacemaker season 2. Pay no attention to the 50% loss in tickets sold for Superman. Pay no attention the box office failure of Supergirl.
They will get it right with the NEXT one.

I cannot believe how the Gunntards keep saying it’s ok to have failure after failure with the DCU.
That is not how business works. There is no interest. It’s a failed attempt at doing the DC universe.
It’s over.

Everybody said the interest was back with DC movies because of the success of Superman. They are now heavily promoting Superman with Supergirl. The movie should do incredibly well.

Once Paramount acquires Warner Bros, they need to get rid of these “content creators” who have WB Partnerships.
Clearly there are better creators out there who aren’t biased and glaze James Gunn’s 24/7.

This is beyond comedic: Spielberg's Disclosure Day, on a $115M budget, apparently needs $300M to "justify its cost" and become profitable while DCU's slop of the week Supergirl, on a $175M budget ($60M more than Disclosure Day!), has its breakeven point at $315M (just $15M more)?
