Today between the hours of 10:00 - 14:00 the crew of Newtown Fire Station will be sponges at the ready awaiting your dirty vehicles.
We will be collecting donations for the Fire Fighters Charity for all the important work they continue to do.

A Powys firefighter is set to run hundreds of miles to raise money for charity.
Craig Neil from Newtown Fire Station is fundraising by taking on the mammoth task of completing the 496km Challenge.

It's also the right time to be finishing my on-call role with @NewtownFireStn which I have had the privilege of leading over the last 18 months or so. Thank you to all the team for their help & support, and for my presentation on drill this week. Unexpected and much appreciated!
