O’Hoppe’s looking WAY different back there this month. Noticed the jump on a version of SL I’ve been working on.
Way more relaxed posture; also loading fingers to ground instead of pocket open to the pitcher like he was previously.
Hoping to see more of this from him in the future!

First look at a pitch grading model based off the new Statcast swing tracking.
Excluded fastballs as they're not really significant to the swing quality metric.
Interesting to note Corbin's slider grades so highly. Will have to see if there's an issue with the model or if there's actually something there
