"It's just far too early," said union president Rich Gulla. "There's too many issues facing this country to come out with an endorsement at this time. I think our members and the citizens of this state deserve to debate those issues." #NHPolitics @WMUR9 wmur.com/article/biden-new-h…

The man building a ballroom with foreign steel probably shouldn’t call himself the champion of American steel. But as you learned from the Epstein files, I’m open to working across the aisle. So how about signing my steel bill to actually rebuild the American steel industry?

The average worker waits more than a year for their first union contract after voting to organize. Employers are running out the clock, and Speaker Johnson is letting them. I signed a discharge petition to force a vote on the Faster Labor Contracts Act. Let's bring it to the floor now.

Thinking of the @SEIU1984 nurses in Laconia & Franklin on this Nurses Appreciation Day. They made history by becoming the first nurses to unionize in NH, and are now fighting for a fair contract. Nurses – and all the healthcare professionals we rely on – deserve a fair wage, safe conditions, and dignity on the job. I'll always fight to ensure those on the front line have the resources they need. I appreciate you. #NHPolitics @SEIU

My grandmother had to drop out of school in the eighth grade to go to work in a shoe factory. At that time, her work days were as long as the factory owner wanted. Thankfully, she later benefited from the courage and sacrifice of those who fought for an 8-hour workday. On May Day, we honor the legacy of those workers. I will always stand with labor and the families union jobs support. #NHPolitics

Today, we honored the lives and service of New Hampshire’s Public Works employees at a memorial dedicated to those who died while performing their public duties for the people of our state. Public Works employees are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year—working quietly, tirelessly, and often behind the scenes to keep our communities safe, connected, and functioning. Their work is demanding, their responsibilities are essential, and the risks they face are very real. Too often, their service goes unrecognized. Today’s memorial serves as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by these dedicated workers and the lasting impact they have on all of us. We remember those who gave their lives in service, and we stand in gratitude for every Public Works employee who continues to answer the call—day or night, in every season, under every condition. Their dedication deserves our respect, our recognition, and our remembrance. #PublicWorksMemorial #HonorTheirService #NewHampshireWorkers @NewHampshireDOT

(Thread) One of the most powerful moments from Congressman @RoKhanna’s Labor Town Hall with us was his engagement with our recently unionized nurses.

Huge thank you to Congressman @RoKhanna, our Union members and everyone who attended our Labor Town Hall last night. It was a true honor to host an open and frank discussion on affordability issues and the future of the Democratic Party. #NHPolitics

The nurses at Concord Hospital made history by becoming New Hampshire’s first unionized nurses at a private hospital.   All across the country doctors, nurses & thousands of health care workers are organizing to save our broken health care system. We appreciate what they do.
HISTORY MADE IN NEW HAMPSHIRE !!!!! Nurses at Concord Hospital – Laconia and Franklin have officially voted to unionize with SEA/SEIU Local 1984 — becoming the first private-sector hospital union in New Hampshire! 🏥✊💜 After months of organizing, nurses came together to win a strong, decisive election. Now, nearly 175 frontline RNs will have a real voice in: ✅ Patient care decisions ✅ Safe staffing levels ✅ Workplace safety ✅ Fair wages & respect “This is a monumental day for NH workers,” said SEA/SEIU Local 1984 President Rich Gulla. “The nurses at Concord Hospital – Laconia and Franklin stood together for their patients, their community, and for each other — and today, they won.” 💪 This victory isn’t just about one hospital — it’s about setting a new precedent for healthcare workers across the Granite State. 🩺 👉 Join us in congratulating these nurses for making history and standing up for their patients, their profession, and their community! 💜 #UnionStrong #NursePower #NHPolitics #SEIU @SEIU
