Grand Admiral Thrawn's actual first but forgotten onscreen appearance. Yes he actually did get a reference in the Fairly Oddparents for real!

These two fans are a special effect for making dust as the model drives. Most of the ‘Pack’ characters of Thomas have similar fans. The effect can be seen here on Kelly in the episode “Alfie has Kittens”

As we said, it would be hard to fit everything we had learned in a single thread so here’s another thread with more fun details!
HAVE A CRACKING CHRISTMAS! We've been working for the past few months to get the original 'Kelly' model, featured in the Jack and the Pack episodes of 'Thomas', ready to show! This will be a long thread with a lot of great pictures and detail, and we’re excited to show you: 🧵

The sun was OUT today! 😀 And so were we! We had a lovely visit to the B&DMES to have a play on their garden railway! One of our little group suggested making it a Brendam themed trip, and so it was! 😁 Edward, BoCo, Bill and Ben looked LOVELY in the sunshine! 😄 Videos soon!

I do enjoy his art. It's concept, not meant to be the final version. But that's ok because concept art inspires the imagination.
Today in Star Wars History… Why Star Wars Looks That Way On June 13, 1929 - Legendary Star Wars concept artist Ralph McQuarrie was born. It’s impossible to overstate Ralph McQuarrie’s impact on Star Wars. Before there were movies, action figures, novels, or theme parks, there were Ralph’s paintings. His artwork helped George Lucas secure financing for Star Wars by showing studio executives what this galaxy far, far away could look like. Many of the saga’s most iconic visuals began with McQuarrie’s imagination: Darth Vader’s distinctive helmet and mask, C-3PO’s final design, R2-D2, Stormtroopers, Tatooine landscapes, Cloud City concepts, and countless ships, creatures, and worlds. His paintings didn't just inspire the films—they helped define them. Star Wars fans may not realize that several scenes in the original trilogy closely resemble McQuarrie's original artwork, including the droids crossing the desert, Vader boarding Leia's ship, and the Rebel briefing before the Death Star attack. George Lucas once said that when words failed him, he would simply point to a Ralph McQuarrie painting and say, “Do it like this.” Without Ralph McQuarrie, Star Wars as we know it may never have existed. Happy Birthday to the artist who helped create the look of a galaxy far, far away. A big youtuber outside of the fandom made a video about Awdry and the stuff he had done and some fans are blaming the youtuber instead of admitting Awdrt had some flaws

Sonic the Hedgehog (and most of his furry friends) stands at 3'3" tall, with E-123 Omega being just under 2 feet taller. Gamma however, stands at a whopping 7'1", eclipsing the average human and his little brother. Eggman's walking tank is amusingly just a little guy.
