If @SenJohnCurtis and Congress were serious about saving Social security - it would take a one line addendum to change the SS cap from 184k up to $500,000 or $1 million) It's an Easy peasy solution to save the Social Security Act and extend it for a hundred years.
Unless real action is taken in Washington, Social Security benefits will be cut by 22% in a matter of years. Politicians on both sides of the aisle aren't being honest with the American people when they promise "not to touch" entitlement programs. If we address these challenges now rather than later, we can preserve these programs for future generations. My Fiscal Commission Act is a great place to start.
