it's surreal seeing your art on chain and being actively traded. someone listed one of my leather daddies for 0.069E which sounds right. 4 Horsemen a tribute to @m0dest___ curated by @AndrewRiBT opensea.io/item/ethereum/0x2…

the four horsemen are coming an experiment built on top of death and taxes designed to lure citizens out of the game. 50 contributing artists. remixed archive works. this is the kind of innovation I hoped to see as the game played out. excellent work @AndrewRiBT and union69 for pulling this together. 11am EST lenk below ✖️💲

I contributed with four horsemen for this collection. Here’s the First Seal: The White Horse (Conquest) Mint opens in about 10 hours. No WL. Straight to public. Instant reveal. Thanks @AndrewRiBT for the chance.
The Four Horsemen serves as both a tribute and a warning. A monument to the world that brought us together and a signal that every game, every civilization, and every era eventually reaches its conclusion. The Horsemen are coming. Welcome to the apocalypse. The Horsemen cometh tomorrow (hopefully) Before we kick off the apocalypse, I wanted to take a second to thank everyone who helped make this collection possible. To the 60 artists who contributed their time, creativity, and horse art. To everyone who helped spread the word, collect submissions, and curate this thing alongside me. To the team at @TransientLabs for talking me off the ledge last when things weren't working. To @0xConcept for building tools that helped track metadata, organize submissions, and randomize the collection. I was not alone in this process. What's crazy is that most of this came together in under a month. What started as a dumb horse joke somehow became a collection built by a significant amount of people from across this community. Most importantly, thank you to @m0dest___ for building the world we're all playing in. Death & Taxes has inspired so many of us to create, collaborate, and push beyond what we thought we were capable of. I'm incredibly proud of what we've built together and excited to finally share it with everyone. See you tomorrow. 🐎🐎 🐎 🐎
i have to commend andrew for executing this so well. innovative, collaborative, and a very interesting utility. therefore, my horsemen cometh. ➕

We learned a lot in the last 24h - not just about art or AI but about ourselves - and I’m struggling to think of anything more valuable. Thank you again @SHL0MS "inferior image" is now part of my UnderTheGAN early AI art collection.

“Hot damn.” — @m0dest___ (see link below) That’s honestly the same feeling I’ve had watching this thing evolve. Between myself and @RightOnRicky_, we now have over 700 Four Horsemen submissions just between the two of us and submissions from 10 plus artists and contributors. And my favorite part? A lot of people had never made anything like this before. Some people drew. Some prompted AI for the first time. Some just threw out ideas. Some spent hours refining details and styles. Some reached out asking how MidJourney works and started experimenting completely from scratch. That’s really the main goal of this whole project. To get people creating. To get people looking deeper into Modests work, each other’s work, and whatever inspires them to make something. The only real parameter is: Make a horseman. White. Red. Black. Pale. Everything else is up to you. I know AI art catches a lot of shade online, but honestly? It’s an incredible creative tool when people approach it the right way. Especially collaboratively. Watching people who never considered themselves “artists” suddenly get excited about composition, themes, prompts, lighting, symbolism, references, textures, and storytelling has been genuinely awesome. Collectively I think we’re building something really fun that will always be tied to this strange, stressful, and emotional journey through Death & Taxes. So seriously, thank you to everyone who has submitted, experimented, asked questions, shared ideas, or just cheered the project on. I’m going to do my best to get as much of what we’ve built together minted and preserved for everyone to enjoy. And if anyone else wants to jump in: Make a horseman. That’s it. @XCOPYART provided us with one of the best guides for becoming an artist: "How to become an artist 1. Decide you’re an artist Congrats you made it!🔥" If you need help, inspiration, prompting advice, or just want to talk through ideas, DM me. Happy to help. thesauce1441.github.io/horse…

The closer we get to the end of Death & Taxes @m0dest___, the more obvious the final problem becomes: This game is never going to end. Some want the art. Some want the ETH payout. Some want both. Some will hold to the grave. Some are looking for a way out. So I’ve been building something around that tension. THE FOUR HORSEMEN A collection of 666 horsemen riding to bring the end of civilization. Near the end of time a while, pale, red and black horsemen will appear. I currently have ~300 already made, but the goal is to open this up to the community as a collaborative art experiment tied directly into the endgame of Death & Taxes. 100% of proceeds go directly into the treasury multisig wallet controlled by myself, @inceptionally @yukokosaka @LeftWithTheArt all pillars of the modest community and people I trust that will help direct these funds to bring forth the end of civilization. The treasury exists for one purpose: To create “ticket out” offers that incentivize citizens to leave the game. As we approach the final 69, the system becomes increasingly brutal. Greed kicks in. Conviction gets tested. Some people would rather secure an exit than rmax pain This project attempts to create liquidity and pressure relief during the final stages. End goal: If there are 169 citizens remaining, then theoretically 100 exits are needed to reach the final 69. The treasury can then distribute pro-rata WETH offers based on: Treasury size Number of remaining citizens current Game conditions We already have a bot framework being built that can help automate portions of this bidding logic dynamically as the numbers change. Is it perfect? No. There are still players who want both the art and the payout. There’s still greed. There’s still game theory. But this creates a mechanism for people who want to leave with something instead of nothing, funded by collectors and participants who want to support the art and the chaos. I’d also love for this to become collaborative. If anyone in the community wants to create their own horsemen and submit pieces to the collection, reach out. The goal is to reach 666. If you have no idea how to make art, DM me and I’ll help however I can.
