Israel flattened Beirut in 1982. No Hamas. No Hezbollah. No October 7 to point to then. Just 17,000 dead Lebanese and Palestinian civilians. Even US president then Ronald Reagan, who armed Israel, called Begin furious after seeing a photo of a 7-month-old baby with its arms blown off and said “It is a holocaust”. They killed so many innocent people that the survivors had no choice but to pick up weapons. Then Israel had the audacity to keep using “Self-Defense” excuse every decade. Israel didn’t stumble into endless war. Israel built it. Brick by brick. Own it.

There you have it. Anthropic's CEO said it: The murder of more than 100 schoolgirls in Minab targeted by Anthropic's CLAUDE "is a use case that doesn't even violate our red lines." Time to rise up against these technofeudal war criminals.
CEO of Anthropic Dario Amodei awkwardly smiles through his answer to a question about why Claude AI directly contributed to the US Military bombing of the elementary school in Minab.

Leading medical journal The Lancet publishes call to expel Israeli Medical Association over Gaza genocide —— Medical journal The Lancet has published a petition calling for the Israeli Medical Association to be boycotted and expelled from the World Medical Association over its failure to condemn what the petition describes as Israel's genocide against Palestinians and the collapse of Gaza's healthcare system. The campaign, launched by the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, Healthcare Workers for Palestine, and Doctors for Gaza, has so far received support from more than 1,150 healthcare professionals and medical organizations. The call for expulsion is expected to be raised at the World Medical Association's general assembly in October. The Israeli Medical Association opposed the move, arguing that its expulsion would not advance peace, healthcare, or human rights, and would instead create a precedent for using political pressure campaigns to isolate healthcare workers based on their nationality.

Jeremy Johnson - in 50 years time this will be the only 1.39 minutes of your life you'll be remembered for. It'll be played in genocide museums to sum up the complicity and callous brutality of the British state in the face of the slaughter of the Palestinian people - and the courage of those who opposed it.
Here’s injustice Jeremy Johnson handing down the sentences at today’s disgusting stitched up Palestine Action trial. Any faith I ever had in the fairness of the British justice system is completely is dead.

🇧🇴 🇺🇸 | Civil war-type scenes are emerging from Bolivia. The government passed a law authorising US-backed President Rodrigo Paz to deploy the military against protesters. Bolivian police and military forces have launched a joint operation to clear strike blockades in San Julián, Santa Cruz department, as a five-week general strike against neoliberalism continues to grip the country. The crackdown came with full government backing — multiple ministers arrived for what was intended as a photo opportunity declaring victory over the movement. Instead, entire communities mobilised, forcing security forces to retreat after more than four hours of sustained resistance on the highway. The mobilisations, demanding the resignation of President Rodrigo Paz, have left at least ten people dead, 37 injured, and over a hundred facing prosecution, according to the Ombudsman's Office. Meanwhile, in El Alto — the indigenous city encircling the capital — daily popular assemblies are being held where communities vote on strike strategy and assess the movement's progress. A new form of grass-roots democracy is taking shape on the streets.

I just heard the @BBC radio say that the Israeli army was attacking Hezbollah targets yesterday & they also platformed someone bloviating about how Iran is ‘occupying’ Lebanon. As a frontline journalist on the ground for the last 18 months, I would like to reiterate that I have not see any Iranian occupation bases in Lebanon. I have not seen any children killed here by Iranian bombs. I haven’t seen the IRGC massacring entire families on a daily basis. The IRGC has not shot at me or killed dozens of my colleagues in targeted attacks. Iran has not been systematically murdering healthcare workers (over 130) in Lebanon. Israel has violently invaded and occupied Lebanon. The flag flying over the base in Al Khiam is an Israeli flag, not an Iranian flag. (Photo below) The Lebanese Ministry of Health yesterday reported that 3,613 civilians have been killed and 11,072 have been wounded in Israeli attacks since March 2nd.
The level of complicity of the @BBC in the ethnic cleansing of southern Lebanon is shocking. I am listening to their Jerusalem correspondent report that the ‘IDF are striking Hezbollah targets’ while I’m on the ground in the middle of it watching men, women and children being killed on a daily basis. My colleagues are being executed. Paramedics are being systematically murdered. All of this is happening in plain sight and the BBC correspondent here in Lebanon knows it. May you all be put on trial for your deadly propaganda when the time comes. Shame on all of you, especially those on the ground who are too cowardly to speak out.
