My family have owned, looked after & harvested olives for hundreds of years. No one from the Mediterranean ever destroys olive trees. #Ecocide
There were 1.3 million olive trees in Gaza before Oct. 7, 2023, now 75% of them have been destroyed.

While in Malawi, I saw two farmers exchanging pumpkin seeds. This sparked my curiosity about its seed laws. Just like Kenya, Malawi has enforced its Seed Act of 2022 which prioritises certified seeds and does not recognize farmer managed seed systems #seedsovereignty
