When we formed in 2019, our primary concern was preventing the PTTG cracker plant from being constructed. Our friends in Beaver County, however, were not so fortunate. The research is clear: cracker plants hurt the local economy more than they help it.

A focus on developing a long-lasting, sustainable economy in the Ohio Valley will mean industry growth for all residents. Declining poverty rates, good-paying jobs, and a growing population are all things we strive for, but to achieve that, we need an economy that works for all.

Plastic fuels the #ClimateCrisis! So why is @Unilever, a top plastic polluter, sponsoring the #COP26 ? COP26 should be a space where meaningful and real change takes place. NOT one of #greenwashing. The plastic crisis is part of the climate plastic. #StopPlasticPollution

A reminder that the proposed PTTG cracker plant would provide a handful of long-term jobs at the risk of driving away residents due to water and air quality concerns. We can have a sustainable, regional economy that isn’t tied to this industry.
Community members are bringing huge signs to the Wheeling Suspension Bridge - Do you get the message? They don’t want the proposed ethane cracker plant that has promised business in the valley @WTRF7News
