When we formed in 2019, our primary concern was preventing the PTTG cracker plant from being constructed. Our friends in Beaver County, however, were not so fortunate.
The research is clear: cracker plants hurt the local economy more than they help it.
A focus on developing a long-lasting, sustainable economy in the Ohio Valley will mean industry growth for all residents. Declining poverty rates, good-paying jobs, and a growing population are all things we strive for, but to achieve that, we need an economy that works for all.
