After 15 years as CEO of Apple, Tim Cook will be stepping down on September 1 and will be replaced by Apple’s head of hardware, John Ternus.
Cook will step into the role of executive chairman.
Ternus is 50, the same age Cook was when he took over as CEO of Apple after Steve Jobs stepped down due to his health.
