We are thrilled to present to our readers the 20th Anniversary Annual Review Issue of Histopathology @Histo_Journal @daniel_berney When the inaugural issue was published in 2006, Dr. Christopher Fletcher articulated a clear vision for this series - “update general pathologists in areas in which newly emerging data have appeared, or in which there has been conceptual evolution, ongoing controversy, or persistent ambiguity (e.g. grading).” Two decades later, this vision remains as relevant and impactful as ever, continuing to guide the mission of our journey.   The 2026 Annual Review Issue showcases a comprehensive and contemporary spectrum of urologic diseases, encompassing the prostate, bladder, kidney, testis, penis, and adrenal gland, while also embracing emerging frontiers such as artificial intelligence and liquid biopsy in urologic surgical pathology. These 21 state-of-the-art reviews reflect both the depth and dynamism of the field. We hope readers will find the articles authoritative, insightful, and practical, offering clear guidance amid rapidly evolving diagnostic, molecular, and technological advances.   As we commemorate this 20-year milestone, we extend our deepest gratitude to all contributing authors for their outstanding scholarship, dedication, and timely contributions. Their collective expertise provides a rich and authoritative synthesis of diagnostic and molecular advances in the era of precision medicine. It is our hope that this anniversary issue will serve not only as a valuable resource for clinical practice, education, and translational research, but also as an inspiration for continued innovation and collaboration in urologic surgical pathology for years to come.   This 2026 special edition also holds personal significance for me, as it marks my third time serving as co-editor of the Histopathology Annual Review Issue, alongside my dear friend and esteemed colleague, Dr. Dan Berney, following my co-editor role in the 2012 and 2019 Annual Review Issues.   The full content of this special anniversary issue is freely available at: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/toc/… Annual Review Issue: Genitourinary Pathology: Histopathology: Vol 88, No 1 @rajalbshah @GladellPaner @Williamson_SR @katcollmd @MuraliV72899596 @AlessiaCim @TheoKwast @h_alahmadie @DrShariat @AkgulMD @slusagar @KhaleelAlObaidy @Andres_M_Acosta @Shounak_Gupta @FionaMacPath @UrogerliMD @Aparwani_dpath @GU_Path_Society @IntSocUropath #gupath #pathology #pathtwitter #surgpath
