Even as new efforts at getting to an end of the Iran war and the Strait of Hormuz may reopen soon, it will still take months before oil and fertilizer shipments will resume at some level of normalcy. The risk of increasing food security and hunger later this year remains high.

#Fertilizer Market : Fertilizer markets were more active in September, driven by stronger-than-expected import demand from India for nitrogen and phosphates. Supply remains tight, especially for phosphates. Demand is expected to rise in Q4 2024, further supporting prices.
