Friday I start to phase out of the rcmp after 34 years memories. From NF, NS, BC, NT, and back. Amazing people in the HRD HRP. My last day in Blue Serge - dismantling the insignia feels awkward! Thanks to former and current serving who give of themselves. Masi Cho.

Brian Pinksen knew from an early age that he wanted to be in the military. While serving in Afghanistan, he was wounded by an explosion. He died on this day in 2010, at a hospital in Landstuhl, Germany. Today and always, we remember his sacrifice. #CanadaRemembers
