🚀 Animo is a free animation toolset I've been building and using in production for years. It includes tools for Space Switching, Fast Arc Tracking, Fast Baking, Animation Layer Tools, and more to help speed up animation workflows.
Working on the rising of the great turtle guardian. These big guys are so fun to build!
The game is NYRA AND THE GARDEN OF MOROS

I had a ton of fun with weapons in Witherbloom, a thrust with a sword is one of the more versatile attacks you can do in life, often put at the of a combo in games. Here I had the opportunity to put it as the first alternative attack like I always wanted. #animation#combatdesign

Not an attack but really important to me. The way you carry your weapon. I love when you can see the weapon is an extension of the character so I built all the locomotion in Witherbloom to always reflect the weapon you have equipped. Walks, runs, sprints, jumps.
We finished our first demo recently but we plan to have another one in the near future, with multiplayer available. Leaving the steam link here.

Some more highlights of the combat system we have been building in Witherbloom, some range and AOE skills plus some special enemies and mini bosses. #animation#combatdesign
Not sure why but have been scared to share too much of what I am working on. Time push past that and start. Here is an old clip but it does a good job of letting you all know whats coming :)

This was our first miniboss in the Witherbloom demo but it was also my first time designing an enemy like this. Working on the animation was a blast but nothing compares to watching people react to it the first time he charges up with the crystals and starts dashing.
This is the enemy I enjoyed the most designing the combat and #animation in Witherbloom. I was able to bring a bit of my love for martial arts into the mix. From the dodge to using the motion warp in a different way, we were able to make it feel different than regular enemies.
