This time last year I called for the 132Kv line proposed by @ButeEnergyWales to be undergrounded. W.Gov policy = underground. Todays demo by ATP demonstrates that Bute are behind in the technology & global responsibility. Excavator cleaned up behind. #nopylons

An interesting morning in Llanybydder with an exhibition of burying electric cables underground by ATP Cable Ploughing company from Pencader. The technology is already being used in Europe - and I have no doubt efforts should be made to use it here in Wales instead of pylons.

Should be entitled “In defence of dinosaurs” 🦕 Cable ploughing, underground HVDC, reconductoring, using existing disused infrastructure and coordinating offshore are all superior options. But hey, let’s obsess about the technology of yesteryear!

Low sun on roads, a nightmare for riding, at this time of year.
According to the British Horse Society, 66 horses were killed (and 96 injured) in road accidents last year - the highest rate since 2018. The figures are shocking and show the importance of raising awareness and understanding about safety on country roads. bit.ly/4bAXAkh
