After eight wonderful years of living by the sea in Southern Spain we have decided to sell the house. Do you know anyone looking for either a relocation, a second home, an investment property or even a business as a luxury b&b. Please Rt for us. blucee.com/property/impressi…

I know I am being lazy and should do it myself but…. Does anyone have the grids for the seat allocation. Fine to have the results but I’d love to see the workings out. @WalesGovernance @LloydCymru @WalesPolitics

Whatever you think of the result. This election was historic. A big thank you to @VaughanRoderick #sundaysupplement this morning for top context and analysis. Did strike me that with 3/4 group leaders from the north will @RhunapIorwerth have to appoint a minister for south Wales?

Public order training, much like hostile environment/ first aid training is pretty standard for the BBC, ITN and other news organisations. Staff who may encounter disorder on their beat are often sent on this course. It's not unusual...
🔴 EXCLUSIVE: The BBC has ordered staff travelling to the World Cup to undergo special training in anticipation of rioting in the United States, Canada and Mexico @ben_rumsby has the full story ⤵️ telegraph.co.uk/football/202…

We have 2 converted farm buildings on our farmyard that we let out to holidaymakers. We never hit the Welsh government’s recent target of letting them out for over 182 days a year (even though they’re available all year) because we’re inland, not in the coast. They’ve just sent us a backdated premium (additional 50%) council tax bill for the last three years. It’s over £26,000. I am seriously concerned for my husband’s mental health. We can’t pay that. We can’t sell them as they’re not suitable for permanent accommodation. We can’t rent them out as they’re not classed as permanent accommodation. What the actual fuck are we meant to do here?!!

@TowerHamletsNow please stop destroying our conservation area and listed estate. The pavement survived 125 years on our estate, an important conservation area. Today an unqualified contractor came and took away the original pave stones and tarmac over the area. Stop all work!

Posts have been circulating regarding an appeal for donations in relation to a lack of pillows at Glan Clwyd Hospital. I've checked with the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. Here's their response.

I am hearing that @tfwrail won’t be installing tap and go at stations west of Rhyl. If true why not?

Re Tom Stoppard: my dad always loved retelling the story of how as editor at the London Evening Standard he interviewed Stoppard for a role on the paper. Stoppard had said he was interested in politics, but from Stoppard’s very broad brush answers he said he became increasingly suspicious of Stoppard’s actual political knowledge. So he asked Stoppard directly to name the current Home Secretary. Stoppard, not a man often lost for words, floundered eventually recovering to reply “I said I was interested in politics. Not obsessed with it.” Dad always said we are all the richer for the interview ending with Stoppard finding another career.

So powerful
To mark Armistice & Remembrance Sunday, I share powerful but harrowing footage from the Great War, which has been restored & colourised, along with a war poem which I've written & recited, called "The Ghosts of the Riven". Caution is advised as the imagery is strong #LestWeForget
