Leonard was flat out better than Hagler. Quicker, more versatile, more athletic, more talented, and mentally tougher. He would have beat him worse in 82/83 without the layoffs.

In fairness I think SRL would always have caused Hagler problems because of his speed and versatility.

Big round for Bam. 3-2 Vargas but even with the KD. Vargas used everything he had to survive and fought back hard. Loving this one.

3-1 Vargas. Doing a great job finishing exchanges with the left around Bam’s guard or the right underneath. Picking a lot of shots off on the gloves. Very close round (hardest to score so far)

Tom Jones is one of the greatest entertainers of all time and a cool guy. He saw my wife and her sister perform a number of times and was very supportive of them-he really liked their act—I met him a couple of times and he was a great guy.
