I’m not an atheist. Nor a theist. Both suffer from mental habits of their repetitive mindset. True morality is when I don’t do something to another that I wouldn’t want done to me or someone dear to me like a son, daughter, wife, mother and so on. Example: I won’t play a female for sex because I wouldn’t want someone playing my mother, wife, or daughter for sex. True morality is respecting the sovereignty of another. It also means defending one’s sovereignty against those seeking to trespass on it. Mental habits pervert this morality check, often called The Golden Rule. It’s a thought experiment. So their “god” book says it’s ok to trespass on nonbelievers. Or it says that women are livestock, not human. Or it says that nonbelievers are less than human. That’s conditional morality, which all religions have. Sovereignty is an innate quality of everyone. No one wants their time, possessions, their body, their sexuality, etc…, stolen from them. Ok, don’t steal anything from another. Self defense is simply protecting oneself. If that means taking the trespassers life to prevent the trespass, so be it. The trespasser gave up his or her sovereignty by seeking to trespass.
