Nobody wants a city on Mars. Nobody wants AI in every app. Nobody wants a robot butler. Nobody wants data centers everywhere. Nobody wants flying cars or humanoid robots. We want clean water, we want bees to survive, and we want a habitable planet.

Pauline Hanson Vic fundraiser turns ugly as Neo-Nazis show up in support. But a humiliating end for Neo-Nazi Michael Nelson—arrested face down in handcuffs, sobs out to his hero ā€œHeil Hanson! The great white hope!ā€ Hanson owns this. She is their champion with same agenda #auspol

Typical One Nation Trump tactic. WA Premier Cook said Hanson voted against Medicare Improvements. She says that is a "Labor Lie". Trouble is, it isn't, it's a fact. When her amendment to the Health Amendment Bill failed, she voted against the entire bill. She is a blatant liar.

It's evident they see their job as talking about their job - regardless of the lack of substance to it Reading Brereton's brief speech that he flew half way across the world to Qatar to deliver to a collection of bureaucrats, one can scarcely believe the generic banality of it .

The NACC didn’t have any or much experience, being a new body, so why presenting overseas?

She isn't employed by that university in any way That page you're quoting is an old presenter's page from a 2023 conference she spoke at @ShazHaitch - that's all x.com/RonniSalt/status/20650…

@cheryl_kernot - just to clarify here The AFP's Krissy Barrett was a speaker back in 2023 at the World Summit on Counter Terrorism run by Reichmann University. She was a speaker/presenter there and that's all, which is why she's listed specifically as a so-called team member for that year's conference I can't find any information anywhere to indicate her association with that university has been anything more than that. She is not listed anywhere as a staff member or a consultant or a teacher or any other form of direct or indirect association, nor is she on any internal employment lists - other than being a presenter at a conference in 2023 (Happy to be proven wrong though, but that's what I found after extensive searching) ict.org.il/world-summit-home…

A hell of a lot of travel and "presentations" and conferences where they tell others about their job, the one they're not doing because they're all too busy travelling Oh and lots of new office refurbishments, car space rentals, legal advice from outside. For example, the Robodebt debacle cost Australians almost $2 million to have re-examined and then Brereton charged us $220K for his legal fees to cover himself for investigations into his conduct One conviction, zero public hearings

Entitlement on steroids...starts with the "right" to claim meal and travel expenses associated with doing a day job in the usual place on top of an over-generous salary. Lesser mortals pay those non-tax deductible expenses out of much lower salaries. (Social cohesion anyone?)
My latest article in The Shot After spending obscene amounts of taxpayer's money on luxury travel, office refurbishments and airfares from their homes to their Canberra office, I examine the high price Australians have paid so far for an impotent #NACC . theshot.net.au/uncategorized…

Australia can look forward to a very dry spring & summer, with enhanced bushfires whipped up by strong dry winds. East coast will be drier. Agriculture will be affected due to lack of rain. And more coral bleaching😢. #ElNiƱo #storms #bushfires theguardian.com/us-news/2026…

Not only did Russell de Burgh conceal information but provided misleading advice 'designed to cover up the scheme's lack of legal foundation'. One of six individuals names for referral to NACC. And he gets a job in Social Policy? OMG @strangerous10 x.com/strangerous10/status/1…
Watch how long it takes for Mr Russell de Burgh to accept that the Robodebt scheme was not fair, and not legal. De Burgh is an Assistant Secretary in Aged Care, and I wish could say this was the worst of his evidence. šŸ˜’ #RoboDebtRC

There is a massive hole in investigating corruption within the APS. Depts don’t want to know it, they don’t have the staff or $ and it discredits the Dept. AFP don’t want to know it and the NACC charter limits their scope of investigation. It all leads to millions of $ lost.

This is a distressing cost-benefit analysis of @NACCgovau after three years under Paul Brereton’s commissionership. One conviction/no public hearings. It reflects adversely on PM @AlboMP and his cynical deal with Peter Dutton to constrain NACC and its investigative impacts. šŸ‘‡

OMFG. Try getting through Ronni Salt's latest NACC exposƩ without your whole body filling with rage. How did a body built to expose corruption end up so thoroughly captured by the people running it?

The NACC clearly lists the Commissioner's office as based in Canberra The Remuneration Tribunal (Official Travel) Determination 2024, does not allow for travel expenses to be paid for public servants/staffers from their home to their principal office Paul Brereton lives in Sydney and yet via the NACC, Australians have funded his commute from his Sydney home to his primary office in Canberra, in breach of the Official Travel determination Why? Is this a judicious use of taxpayer's money?
