Exactly. Those praising #Dhurandhar have seen the films. That's the difference between real buzz & paid promotion. PR for #Alpha PR forgets a basic truth: people want good films. Genuine word-of-mouth would come from the audience. Mere publicity cannot manufacture success.

Any Indian spy film releasing after Dhurandhar has a tough act to follow. But this teaser of Alpha doesn't look like it has even tried. The audience has made it clear that flashy VFX and action sets can't compensate for a weak content. Yet here we are again. 🤦♀️

TBH, Darlings was a far better film, miles ahead in terms of writing and direction.
Maa Behen has a wafer thin storyline, and at times the entire film feels like a rushed fill-in-the-blanks exercise stretched into a feature-length movie.
