I’ve been in rooms where everyone had a strong point of view and very little time to make a decision. The instinct is to speak quickly.
The better leaders listen first. They focus on what’s said — and what’s left unsaid. That kind of listening builds trust. And over time, it leads to stronger decisions and stronger communities.
When has listening changed your approach?
