Jac Caglianone doesn’t need to be great against LHP. He just needs to remain enough of a power threat to warrant a spot in the lineup each night.
He has a higher career HR rate (4.3%) against LHP than against RHP (2.5%).

My honest opinion here is that the “bad” will always stand out more to us than the “good” when it comes to baserunning.
No one remembers getting an extra base going first to third. Everyone remembers getting thrown out at second trying to push it.

Serious question, and I’m not trying to pick on Dustin, but where did this notion come from that Maikel dogs it? Guy plays literally every day. Has already played through multiple issues this year.
Someone who dogs it isn’t even thinking about advancing to second on that play.
If you’re gonna be doggin it like he usually is you can’t be aggressive like that..
