🚨 Security Alert It appears that the @TrustWallet browser extension may have been compromised via a supply-chain attack in the Dec 24 update. Reports indicate that importing a seed phrase into the extension can result in immediate wallet draining. ⚠️ Do NOT use the Trust Wallet extension for now, and never import seed phrase until an official clarification and fix are released. ❗ As of now, there has been no official communication from the Trust Wallet team regarding this incident. Exploiters are using multiple addresses and More than $2,000,000 appears to have been drained

Yop 👋 Pas beaucoup de tweets/nouvelles en ce moment mais il y a une bonne raison à ça 👀 Je viens tout juste d'être embauché comme dev senior dans une boite (Web 2), adieu donc le monde du freelance (et dans une moindre mesure du Web 3) 😁 Cela va forcément avoir un impact sur mon implication Web 3, le temps que je pourrais allouer étant réduit drastiquement. Je vais continuer d'assurer le support de certains projets dans lesquels je suis profondément impliqué, mais pour le moment je ne prévois pas d'en prendre de nouveaux. Cependant, j'aime beaucoup trop le monde du Web 3 pour tout lâcher, donc j'essayerai autant que possible d'assurer une veille technologique et de continuer des petits projets perso (pour ne pas perdre la main) lorsque je pourrai. A compromised wallet may display a fake address during a transaction (transfer or smart contract call), leading you to send funds to a phishing address. ⚠️ Both browser wallets and websites can be compromised, with the same risk: the loss of your funds. 👉 Use a hardware wallet to verify the target address directly on it and stay safe. 👉 If possible, avoid doing transactions for now. --- 🇫🇷 🚨 Évitez d’utiliser les hot wallets jusqu’à nouvel ordre et attendez d'avoir des infos de la part de ces derniers. 🚨 There’s a large-scale supply chain attack in progress: the NPM account of a reputable developer has been compromised. The affected packages have already been downloaded over 1 billion times, meaning the entire JavaScript ecosystem may be at risk. The malicious payload works by silently swapping crypto addresses on the fly to steal funds. If you use a hardware wallet, pay attention to every transaction before signing and you're safe. If you don’t use a hardware wallet, refrain from making any on-chain transactions for now. It’s still unclear whether the attacker is also stealing seeds from software wallets directly at this stage.
