The Bucs scored the go-ahead run and walked off the field winners. After the game I spoke to the opposing manager who said, "When JD stepped in I knew it was over." I wasn't confident. JD was hitting around .100. But he had a clutch factor that night.

It's never fun to see a career come to an end. We want to see the good guy keep going forever. But, JD and the Bucs had a magical run this season. A bloop single walk-off over the outstretched glove of the second baseman will forever be my memory of JD. For good and bad.

In a day of blowouts we have a great series at Castle Field tonight. @StMichaelSaints 12-0 @FLBrewers @CentCougarsTown 11-1 @AnokaBucs @LogatorBaseball 9-1 @ShoreviewStumps (in the 7th) @TheRedbird9 and @AndoverAces went to 12 in game one and are about to start game 2.
