Active Travel England welcomes the findings of the Chief Medical Officer’s annual report. The report says (p.137) “active travel can achieve significant health benefits for children and adults” and that it is effective at “reducing the associated air pollution emissions.”👏👇

Great progress has been made to reduce outdoor air pollution in England, but we can and should go further – it is technically possible.
Tackling indoor air pollution should now also be a priority.
